Did you know that the Baby Kiwi has five times more vitamin C than oranges, two times more vitamin E than the banana and the same amount of vitamin B6 than spinaches?
Originally from Asian countries where it was used in folk medicine for the treatment of numerous diseases, the Baby kiwi, also known as the Kiwiberry, is consumed in the same way as the blueberry, gooseberry, blackberry and raspberry.
Belonging to the species Actinidia, several studies have shown that the baby kiwi’s berries contain about 20 nutrients, such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamins E, B6, C and high values of antioxidants.
Smaller than the traditional kiwis, this fruit has approximately the size of a grape and can be eaten with the skin. Sweeter than the average kiwi, its sugar levels range from 14 to 29%.
In the inside, they are very similar to the traditional Kiwi: green with small black seeds and striped patterns.
How we work.
In environmental terms, our Farm is located in one of the best-preserved locations: Baião. In 2017, the production was initiated with the help of 10 employees.
